RMA Guidelines
Eligibility for Credit Returns
- Only new and unused goods are eligible for return for credit within three (3) months from the date of shipment, at Gems’ sole discretion.
- Custom-configured goods built to Purchaser specifications cannot be returned for credit.
- All goods will be inspected by Gems Sensors to confirm they are new, unused, in proper working order, and acceptable for return.
Hazardous Materials
Any goods exposed to Hazardous Materials (anything other than inert gas) must:
- Be 100% purged with documented data.
- Include an MSDS sheet for the hazardous material.
- Be bagged, sealed, and tagged, with paperwork attached to the outside of the shipping container.
Prohibited Returns
Gems Sensors will not accept goods exposed to:
- Biological processes
- Radioactive materials
- Asbestos
- Semiconductor processing environments
