PS71 Pressure Switch: Electrical Connectors Defined

Electrical Connector Pictorial Options with Reference Designators

The PS71 family of Pressure Switches are available with a variety of electrical connection options. The listing below will show a picture of what the connection looks like as well as a description of the options.

-SP- (Spade)

Sensor diagram for industrial configuration.

  • Two (SPST, NO or NC) or three (SPDT) spades
  • Spades are ¼” wide, 0.03” thick

-FLXX- (Flying Leads)

Sensor diagram for fluid control system.

  • XX = Length in Inches.
  • Specify lead length in inches (i.e. -FL18 or -FL30)
  • 18” (450 mm) is standard. Max length is 48” (1220 mm)
  • Wire specs: 18AWG, PVC sheath

-FLSXX- (Flying Leads w/ PVC Shrink Tubing)

  • XX = Length in Inches
  • Specify lead length in inches (i.e. -FLS18 or -FLS30)
  • 18” (450 mm) is standard. Max length is 48” (1220 mm)
  • Wire specs: 18AWG, PVC sheath
  • Shrink material: PVC

-ELXX- (1/2” NPT Male Conduit w/ Flying Leads)

  • XX = Length in Inches
  • Specify lead length in inches (i.e. -EL18 or -ELS30)
  • 18” (450 mm) is standard. Max length is 48” (1220 mm)
  • Wire specs: 18AWG, PVC sheath

-CABXX- (18 AWG PVC Cable)

Sensor module for rugged industrial environments.

  • XX = Length in Inches.
  • Specify lead length in inches (i.e. -CAB36 or -CAB120)
  • 36” (915 mm) is minimum
  • Cable specs: 18AWG, PVC Sheath and Jacket

-H- (DIN 43650A Male Half Only)

Sensor configuration for OEM fluid systems.
  • Electrical connection pins exit out the top
  • Pins follow the DIN43650A Standard
  • No mating connector provided

-HR- (Right Angle DIN 43650A Male Half Only)

-HC- (DIN 43650A 9 mm Cable Clamp)

  • Female conduit threads are ½”-14 Female NPT

-HNR- (Right Angle DIN 43650A with 1/2˝ Female NPT Conduit)

-WM- (Weather Pack Connector, Female)

Sensor configuration for automated control systems.
  • Two wire devices use the Aptiv (formerly Delphi) 12010973 housing and the 12089040 pins
  • Three wire devices uses the Aptiv (formerly Delphi) 12010717 housing and the 12089040 pins
  • Recommend ordering with Shrink tubing around the wires (-FLSXX-)

-DE- (Deutsch Connector, Male, DT04 Series

Sensor application in industrial fluid management.
  • Two wire devices use the Deutsch (TE) DT04-2P-E003 housing and the 1060-16-0122 pins
  • Three wire devices use the Deutsch (TE) DT04-3P housing and the 1060-16-0122 pins
  • Recommend ordering with Shrink tubing around the wires (-FLSXX-)
